Exhibition Submissions
The Art Gallery of Calgary’s (AGC) mission is to present a diverse range of contemporary art exhibitions and education programs.
The AGC encourages proposals from local, national and international artists from diverse professional backgrounds for solo and group exhibitions
Proposals must include the following:
- A current Curriculum Vitae, including contact information
- An artist’s statement, no longer than one page, relating to the proposed exhibition or body of work.
- A clear and concise proposal for the exhibition, including any special requirements.
- Documentation of artwork including:
› CD or DVD’s are preferred to slides and should be clearly marked with the artist’s name, address and date of completion.
› Image Inventory List that details all included image titles, date, medium, and dimensions. If applicable, please include editions and running time.
- Submissions must include a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage to return your proposal. Submissions that do not include a self-addressed stamped envelope will not be returned.
Only those under consideration will be contacted. No phone calls please. No submissions via e-mail. Packages that do not include all of the above information will be deemed incomplete and will not be considered. The AGC holds accepted proposals until the completion date of the exhibition.
